Dear FIWAL Friends,
As the sun shines brighter and we welcome the warmth and vibrant colours of summer, I hope this message finds you all feeling energised and inspired.
The FIWAL team is again working hard behind the scenes to put together another showstopper event, ‘The Royal Afternoon Tea’ at the Hilton on Park Lane after the AGM on 10 June. I remain in awe of the dedicated core team— your tireless efforts continue to be the heartbeat of everything FIWAL does.
While summer may be a time to slow down and recharge, it’s also a perfect moment to dream big. Behind the scenes, we’re already planning another powerful year ahead. From a summer garden visit to the FIWAL Biannual conference, we have exciting things in store.
Stay tuned — and stay involved!
As we soak in the long days and warm evenings, let’s also reflect on the journey of womanhood — the strength it takes to lead, the courage it takes to speak up, and the grace we carry as we uplift each other.
One of my favourite quotes this time of year comes from Maya Angelou:
