Fiwal organises several events of its own to provide a forum for its members. As well as the prestigious Biennial Conference covering current issues, we offer Seasonal Gala fund-raising events, often held jointly with Diplomatic missions.
The Biennial Spring lunch with distinguished speakers is held on alternate years to the Conference.

Dear FIWAL Friends,
As we move into June, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on what has been another successful and rewarding year for FIWAL. It has been a privilege to serve the last two years as your President and to witness the dedication, friendship, and commitment that makes FIWAL such a vibrant and welcoming community.
One of the highlights of the coming months will undoubtedly be our colourful Ruby Celebration, a special event that will continue to celebrate our theme of Diversity in Unity. This promises to be a memorable occasion, bringing together members from across our associations to recognise the strength that comes from our varied backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. I very much hope to welcome as many members as possible to this wonderful celebration as we share in fellowship, friendship, and pride in all that we have achieved together.
As my term of office draws to a close, I am also looking forward to formally handing over the Presidency to Dr Roxanne St Clair. I do so with great confidence, knowing that the organisation will be in very capable and safe hands. Roxanne brings experience, vision, and dedication to the role, and I am certain that under her leadership our organisation will continue to thrive and move forward with purpose and success.
I would like to thank all members for their support and friendship throughout my term as President. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and willingness to contribute have made my tenure both enjoyable and rewarding. Together FIWAL has achieved much, and I am proud of everything we have accomplished.
I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events, particularly at the Ruby Celebration, and to supporting Roxanne as she begins her presidential term.
As summer approaches, I wish you and your families a happy, healthy, and relaxing season. Whether you are travelling, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying the longer days, I hope the summer months bring you enjoyment, renewed energy, and many happy memories.
